As part of Pride Amsterdam 2025, Foam proudly presents Us in the Frame by artist Ajamu X in collaboration with guest curator J.G. Basdew.
With this exhibition, we reflect on the importance of Black queer archiving, with a specific focus on photography and lens-based practices, and consider the position that contemporary Black queer image-makers occupy within the Dutch photographic and cultural landscape.

In het kader van Pride Amsterdam 2025 presenteert Foam met trots Us in the Frame door kunstenaar Ajamu X in samenwerking met gastcurator J.G. Basdew.
Met deze tentoonstelling staan we stil bij het belang van black queer archiving, met een specifieke focus op fotografie en lens-gebaseerde praktijken, en reflecteren we op de positie die huidige zwarte queer beeldmakers innemen binnen het Nederlandse fotografische en culturele veld.
